5 Reasons to Run

While scouring Pinterest for running inspiration (a new favorite hobby) I stumbled onto this website. As I was going through the list, #39 really resonated with me: “Find your reasons; come up with at least five reasons and keep them close to heart.”

I took a moment and thought about why I run:

  1. To help keep migraines at bay
  2. To de-stress
  3. To bond with friends who also run
  4. To accomplish a goal (ie: my half marathon in March)
  5. To prove to myself that I can
  6. [bonus reason] Because I am lucky enough to physically be able to run
