This might be my most exciting post yet. And not just because I got to gallivant through a field wearing a hat. This flowery little romper? I made it! I learned to sew a few years back, and currently work in the costume shop at school. I whipped up the romper from scratch, including the pattern.
Nothing says summer like a flowery print! I spent last spring making clothing for a semester-long independent research project and pieced together this romper with some of the extra fabric. I made it with my internship in mind; fun, but long enough to wear to the office.
I interned in New York City this summer at a fashion editorial, and wore this exact outfit to the office! Believe it or not, these shoes are crazy comfortable– like walk around NYC all day comfortable.
I adored living in New York for a few months, but I did miss this summer greenery!
The summer’s coming to a close, and I’m headed back to school this week for my senior year (excuse me while I cry!). I don’t know that I’m ready for summer to end–is anyone ever ready for the end of summer?– but I’m excited to jump into my fall wardrobe!
